As a result of the diplomatic shuttling between Ankara and Brussels, European Commission offered Ankara to update the screening report for the suspending energy chapter.

(Emre Ertürk – 20 Nov. 2015) Diplomatic shuttling between Ankara and Brussels has accelerated greatly as part of joint efforts to secure a solution to the growing refugee crisis. The opening of the energy chapter is also discussed during the negotiations and significant progress has been achieved for the procedures regarding the opening of the energy chapter.
